This week on Classic Vinyl Podcast, Justin and Tyler review John Lennon's debut solo album after The Beatles breakup Plastic Ono Band. As an album that Lennon touches on many personal issues, this is a very good look at his psychological suffering of the time. Critical reception of the album was mixed at the time of the release, but over time some have regarded it as Lennon's best solo album. With great songs like Working Class Hero, Well Well Well, God, Hold On and many others, you should certainly give this one a try if you haven't already.

This week Justin and Tyler review the Los Angeles based rock and roll band Spirit and their fourth studio album Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus. Widely considered as the bands best album, and their only album to hit Gold status, has this band been lost to time? We think you should give Spirit a listen, you may be surprised with how well their music still holds up today. Twelve Dreams is certainly a concept album of sorts, but label it how you will, we think it is an excellent listening experience.

The last of three album recorded by CCR in 1969, this features classic hits like Down on the Corner, Cotton Fields, Fortunate Son and The Midnight Special. As one of biggest bands of the 1960s, CCR is still as relevant as ever today. We highly suggest you give this album a listen.
