This week on Classic Vinyl Podcast, Justin and Tyler review John Lennon's debut solo album after The Beatles breakup Plastic Ono Band. As an album that Lennon touches on many personal issues, this is a very good look at his psychological suffering of the time. Critical reception of the album was mixed at the time of the release, but over time some have regarded it as Lennon's best solo album. Monday May 29, 2023
Monday May 29, 2023
This week Justin and Tyler review the Los Angeles based rock and roll band Spirit and their fourth studio album Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus. Widely considered as the bands best album, and their only album to hit Gold status, has this band been lost to time? We think you should give Spirit a listen, you may be surprised with how well their music still holds up today. Twelve Dreams is certainly a concept album of sorts, but label it how you will, we think it is an excellent listening experience.
